Cookie Policy

This page explains cookies on https://portalcraftbase.click. It should be read with the privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a browser can store. Similar storage, such as localStorage, can hold a consent flag. We use both ideas under the word “cookies” here so the banner remains understandable.

Essential cookies

Essential items keep the consent choice so the banner does not return every time you open a panel. They do not log a name. Rejecting analytics does not remove this essential flag if you already pressed Accept or Reject; the flag is the choice itself.

Analytics cookies

Optional analytics would record coarse page-view counts. They stay off unless you press Accept on the banner. Rejecting them does not hide character spotlight pages, rates, or legal text.

pcb_analyticsPage-view measurement, set only after AcceptUp to 6 monthsPortal Craft Base if enabled

If analytics are not switched on after an Accept click, the pcb_analytics row simply does not appear in your browser.

How to disable cookies

Use the banner’s Reject button on first visit. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice and will show the banner again. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; essential storage for consent may then reset on each visit.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash may set their own cookies according to those companies. We do not control their duration. Following a link to Veve or other external sites lets those sites use their own cookies.

Impact of disabling cookies

Rejecting optional analytics leaves the archive readable: home, services, rates, notes, and policies still load. You may see the consent banner again if storage is blocked. Image or font providers might still receive a network request when a page loads those assets.
